Former Wildcat DeAndre Liggins is out of the NBA but still playing basketball at a high level.  He was named the D-League Performer of the Week after posting his second triple-double of the season against the Fort Wayne Mad Ants, scoring 14 points, grabbing 11 rebounds and dishing out 12 assists for the Sioux Falls Skyforce.  His two triple-doubles are the only two posted in the D-League so far this season.

Behind Liggins, the Miami Heat-affiliated Skyforce posted a 3-0 record last week.  On the season he’s averaging 13.6 points, 7.6 rebounds, 7.1 assists and 2.5 steals.

The Heat need to add DeAndre to their roster and dump Amare Stoudemire. He is the most washed up player in the league and Liggens gives them another guy besides Deng to try to guard the bigger 3s like Lebron, P. George, K. Leonard, and D. Green.

Wouldnt it make more sense financially for Deandre to go overseas and play?
