DeAndre Liggins, Chris Paul traded to Rockets

The Houston Rockets picked up one of the best guards in the entire NBA today via a blockbuster trade before free agency.

Houston also got Chris Paul.

But first, DeAndre Liggins headlines our NBA newswire with the news that he was dealt from the Dallas Mavericks to the Houston Rockets in exchange for cash considerations. Liggins joined Dallas off waivers back in April and played in only one game for the Mavericks.

Then there’s the Chris Paul to Houston news, which is making a little bit more noise across the NBA landscape. Paul was traded for a package that includes Patrick Beverley, Lou Williams, Sam Dekker and a 2018 first-round pick.

Rockets fans complaining about losing Williams for scoring and Beverly for Defense are gonna be awarded with CP3 scoring and Liggins’ defense. Rockets will make some noise, also in consideration for PG13.
