Last night the Boogie for America tour stopped in Chicago. Team USA defeated Venezuela 80-45 in a ho-hum penultimate performance at the United Center.
It must have been a brutal game to watch. The Americans only had two players score in double-figures; Kyrie Irving and Klay Thompson each had 13 points. DeMarcus Cousins wasn’t scoring, finishing with 8 points, but at least he was rebounding, finishing with a game-high 12 boards.

A week away from the Opening Ceremonies in Rio, you can’t blame the team for taking it easy down the stretch. Traveling to Houston today, Team USA’s final tuneup is Monday night against Nigeria.
