Celebrate the One-Year Anniversary of Devin Booker’s 70-Point Game

USA Today

Happy Anniversary Devin Booker!

On this date in 2017, the former Kentucky shooting guard knocked down 21-of-40 shots to become the youngest player to ever score 70 points in an NBA game.  Only five other players have surpassed the 70-point milestone — Kobe Bryant, Elgin Baylor, David Thompson, David Robinson and Wilt Chamberlain.

This is how Booker celebrated the occasion on social media:

You can celebrate by watching highlights from his unbelievable night.

Sure the 11-seed just ran the team we managed to only score 58 points on right out of the gym, but let’s relive the NBA performance of one of our bench players 4 years ago.

Who cares he’s a nice kid but plays pro ball now. Most Kentuckians could care less about the NBA.

Hear hear!! I’m way past these KSR “writers” trying to force-feed the NBA into me. I’m here to read about CURRENT CATS who CURRENTLY play for Kentucky. If I want NBA news I’ll visit an NBA team site or go to or Enough with the insipid “BBNBA” crap, I’d bet over 90% of us couldn’t care less.

Booker scored 70 points in a Kentucky uniform last year? Amazing. Didn’t realize he was on the roster. This post along with the other BBNBA garbage is just as irrelevant. The players stay a short time then get drafted to a team that needs more help than one talented player can provide. Then they fade into oblivion because the team doesn’t go far into the multi round, multi month tournament. What does Denver, LA, Phoenix, New Orleans, Charlotte, Washington, etc. do to make any run in the tournament such that you ever hear from the KY players when it counts?

If all of you want to complain about the success or how the UK program is ran don’t f***ing root for them. Go root for Puke or Loserville. This type of negativity isn’t needed. You want to complain about players in the NBA when before UK had about 5 players total in the league in the past 20 years. Now almost every team has a UK player on the roster. If UK didn’t bring in these players somebody else would then you would be complaining about the talent Calipari misses out on. Do everybody a favor leave this site if you don’t like what they post.

I think a lot of it is just Nick. He spews garbage all over this website; his writing is total trash and tries to be funny. He’s not.

Obviously people do care or this website wouldn’t be running and churning a profit.
