DeMarcus Cousins has had a great NBA season so far, averaging a career-high 23.5 points and an NBA-leading 12.6 rebounds per game, but an undetermined illness has sidelined Boogie for the last 5 games. Today USA Today reported that Cousins has viral meningitis and is expected to miss at least another 7-10 days. According to WebMD, meningitis is a disease affecting the meninges membranes that cover the brain and spinal cord. Luckily the viral form is easily treatable, whereas the bacterial version can be life-threatening.
From all of the BBN, get to feeling better Boogie.
