BBNBA: Turkey Day Edition

Happy Thanksgiving, folks. Today, I am thankful for everything KSR has been able to offer me as I officially enter my third year with the best crew of people I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. Let’s talk NBA.

RECAP

Apologies for the lack of a BBNBA post on Wednesday. Shoutout to American Airlines for delaying my 5:30 a.m. flight for nearly an hour due to “lighting issues” then canceling the flight altogether. So, as you can imagine, my Thanksgiving Eve was controlled by the Airplane Gods inside of bustling airports for over 12 hours. But that’s all behind us now (I still hate you, American Airlines). I have made it to my destination and am currently with family preparing my stomach for the upcoming feast. Which means I have time for a quick special edition Thanksgiving BBNBA post.

Luckily, there were only two games on Tuesday, so we didn’t miss much, and the only notable former Kentucky pro in play was Jamal Murray, who went for 16 points on 7-12 shooting in the Denver Nuggets 117-104 win over the Washington Wizards.

Wednesday, however, was jam-packed with NBA action.

28 teams were in action on the day before Thanksgiving. Most importantly, Anthony Davis made his return to New Orleans as the Lakers came back to beat the Pelicans, 114-110. Davis posted a season-high in points with 41, and also received a season-high in boo’s as the Pelicans crowd mercilessly let the former Wildcat hear the hate they’ve been building up for months now.

Also, check out Davis’ post-game interview following the emotional win.

The rest of today’s Thanksgiving post will consist of highlight videos from the top performers on Wednesday night.

Check out the rest of the statistics below and I hope everyone enjoys that mid-afternoon nap. We’ll be back with the regular BBNBA posts on Saturday.
