BBNBA: Julius Randle messed around and got a triple double

Last night, 4 of the 26 Kentucky players in the NBA were in action, led by Julius Randle, who joined Magic Johnson as the only players in Lakers history to record a triple-double before the age of 22. Let’s get right to it.

Randle was a beast last night, putting up 17 points, 14 rebounds, and 10 assists, the second triple double of his career. He’s now the sixth Lakers player with multiple career triple-doubles since 1985-86.
“It comes from work ethic,” Randle told reporters afterwards. “Every day grinding out. Just trying to get better every day. … Also comes from coach’s belief in me to make plays and be a playmaker.”

It was good to see MKG fight through the lane and get a layup like the days of old:

The only thing that would have made Karl getting 21 points on his 21st birthday better would have been a win. Of course, Karl shouldered the blame, telling reporters, “I gotta do more. All of these losses fall on me.”
No, they don’t, Karl!
Meanwhile, in the D-League, Kyle Wiltjer put up 33 points and 11 rebounds in Rio Grande Valley’s win over Maine, going 6-12 from the three-point line. Dakari Johnson also had 17 points, 9 rebounds, 4 steals, and 2 blocks in OKC Blue’s win over Salt Lake City.

Isn’t Nerlens Noel still with the 76ers?
Yes, but he’s injured right now.
Shouldn’t the same exception apply to Jodie Meeks, too, then?
Accidentally double posted.
I have seen Julius play this year, and thought he looked really good. I am happy for his success!
