Anthony Davis is continuing his campaign for the league’s MVP award. Last night, he scored 41 points while pulling down 13 boards. Davis has been playing out of his mind since DeMarcus Cousins went down with an injury. Davis left the game with a rib injury in the second quarter, but after a comment from Cousins, (you can see that below), he re-entered the game.

Davis’s performance overshadowed a solid showing from Rajon Rondo. The former Cat scored 13 points, while dishing out 9 assists. The most impressive part of Rondo’s stat-line was 0 turnovers.

In other BBNBA news, Enes Kanter’s double-double wasn’t enough as the Knicks fell to Portland. Especially with the injury to Kristaps Porzingas, Kanter has emerged as one of the Knicks’ more consistent scoring options. This was his 32nd double-double of the season, which is a new career high.
