BBNBA: Boogie trades butt pats with Joel Embiid

Last night was a busy one for Kentucky players in the NBA, and this morning, all anyone can talk about is the budding bromance between DeMarcus Cousins and Joel Embiid. The two big man squared off last night, and shared a series of butt pats that Boogie usually doesn’t exchange with his opponents:

Afterwards, Boogie said he thinks Embiid has a chance to be the best big man in the league…after he retires of course.

To be fair, DeMarcus did have a good night:

The bizarre case of Nerlens Noel continues. In three minutes of action, Noel had this and-one over Willie Cauley-Stein:

Please trade him, Philly.

Karl was perfect from the field, hitting 8-8 field goals (including 3 threes) to go alone with 3-3 from the charity stripe:

Basically, I could have stopped that sentence at “Karl was perfect.”

Pretty sure that’s not the PPat video you meant to post?

D’oh, thanks. One of these days I’ll make it through these BBNBA things without a slip up…

Haha, that was PPat fouling the hell out of the dunker (“almost killing” him)
      Love these posts though

The Wolves and Pelicans drafting Dunn & Hield over Murray may go down as some of the biggest f-ups in recent draft history. Before you tell me how those other 2 guys are playing better now than they were at the start of the season, or how statistically there isn’t much of a difference in all 3, let me remind you that Murray will be the same age as Dunn is now in THREE YEARS (and one month). And Hield is a year older than Dunn! If, after 3 years in the NBA, they’re all about the same in performance, Murray is still much more valuable due to his youth and ceiling. In a draft that’s unusually defined by long-sighted perspective on players, those 2 organizations truly screwed up royally by being short sighted and banking on low ceiling players.

BTW- why does it look like you stuck Andrew Harrison’s head on Zach Randolph’s shoulders?

For the thousandth time, Pelicans, PLEASE trade AD to a team that will invest in players that can win!

Davis will have to decide for himself he wants to go somewhere else unless he keeps injuring himself because he is one of the biggest draws in the league. doesn’t he have 4 more years on his contract?
