BBNBA: Because I don’t want to think about the Louisville loss

There’s no getting past it. Last night was a rough result for the current Cats. But let’s not think about that right now. Let’s focus on the fact that former UK guys in the NBA had really good nights. And that there were 15 UK guys playing last night, with only 2 Louisville guys playing.
Anthony Davis, New Orleans Pelicans (121-110 loss to Thunder)
Min | FG | 3PT | FT | OREB | DREB | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO | PF | +/- | PTS |
36 | 14-26 | 1-2 | 5-7 | 3 | 12 | 15 | 2 | 1 | 2 | 2 | 5 | +6 | 34 |
One day Anthony Davis will get some help down there in New Orleans, so his 34 point and 15 rebound performances won’t go to waste.
And it still. goes. in.

Plays like this have become a nightly occurence for Davis.

Terrence Jones, New Orleans Pelicans (121-110 loss to Thunder)

34 | 9-17 | 0-1 | 3-5 | 0 | 2 | 2 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 1 | 0 | -10 | 21 |
Big night for the real T Jones off the bench for the Pelicans.

Enes Kanter, Oklahoma City Thunder (121-110 win over Pelicans)
Min | FG | 3PT | FT | OREB | DREB | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO | PF | +/- | PTS |
34 | 6-11 | 0-0 | 2-2 | 5 | 9 | 14 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 2 | 4 | +11 | 14 |
Big double-double off the bench for Enes Kanter last night. Love to see him putting up solid numbers for a possible playoff team.
Thunder bench good for 27 points in first half. Watch Alex/Semaj/Enes @ work. #ThunderBasketball pic.twitter.com/6EzgxmEgtE

Karl-Anthony Towns, Minnesota Timberwolves (92-84 win over Hawks)
Min | FG | 3PT | FT | OREB | DREB | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO | PF | +/- | PTS |
37 | 7-16 | 0-3 | 3-4 | 4 | 14 | 18 | 5 | 0 | 1 | 6 | 3 | +1 | 17 |
“There’s nothing better than getting a W”-KAT after leading the T’Wolves to back to back wins for the first time this season. Just your typical 17 and 18 night for the big fella.

Towns got an early start on the way to his 9th straight double-double.

Devin Booker, Phoenix Suns (125-11 loss to Rockets)
Min | FG | 3PT | FT | OREB | DREB | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO | PF | +/- | PTS |
36 | 11-25 | 2-4 | 4-5 | 2 | 4 | 6 | 7 | 0 | 0 | 1 | 3 | -5 | 28 |
Booker had 28 points to lead the Suns in scoring, but this is the only highlight that matters. Didn’t know he had to do Kyle Wiltjer like that!

Eric Bledsoe, Phoenix Suns (125-11 loss to Rockets)

26 | 5-10 | 2-2 | 5-6 | 1 | 4 | 5 | 2 | 2 | 1 | 2 | 3 | -10 | 17 |
This 3 from Knight barely even made the net move. Pure shooter.

Tyler Ulis, Phoenix Suns (125-11 loss to Rockets)

John Wall, Washington Wizards (107-97 win over Bulls)

36 | 9-14 | 0-2 | 5-7 | 0 | 6 | 6 | 9 | 3 | 0 | 2 | 2 | +2 | 23 |
Wall’s still got some of that crazy speed we saw back in his Kentucky days.
Good luck catching @JohnWall on the fastbreak!#WizBulls on @CSNMA pic.twitter.com/N9yETWfXUA

31 | 5-18 | 1-3 | 10-13 | 1 | 7 | 8 | 3 | 0 | 1 | 3 | 2 | -4 | 21 |
Cousins is tearing it up lately. If he could just keep his emotions in check, he’d be one of the best players in the league. Hands down.
Boogie Buckets!
He's scored 76 points over the last 2 games and hit clutch FT's tonight. @SacramentoKings win 94-93 over the @utahjazz. pic.twitter.com/4rHaNpxqmo

He’s a center. Hitting step-back threes. That’s gross.
Where you going bruh https://t.co/oAiCm3RIyE

Willie Cauley-Stein, Sacramento Kings (94-93 win over Jazz)
Min | FG | 3PT | FT | OREB | DREB | REB | AST | STL | BLK | TO | PF | +/- | PTS |
19 | 2-4 | 0-0 | 1-2 | 0 | 5 | 5 | 1 | 0 | 2 | 0 | 0 | +6 | 5 |
This isn’t much of a highlight, but I can’t resist a good pun from the Kings Twitter account.
That's some Willie good defense. https://t.co/S6QsC41orK

Have we talked about how Enes’ mustache makes him look like a Super Mario brother?
I’m glad someone else sees it too. It’s ame, Mario!
Can we add Kyle Wiltjer to this running list?
Yeah. Enes didn’t play a game for us, but still like hearing how he’s doing. Why not Wiltjer?
Deandre Liggins logging 26 minutes for the defending NBA Champs….
Russ Smith and Peyton Siva playing overseas… LMAO
