The 2019-20 NBA season tips off tonight with at least two former Cats in action.

Patrick Patterson’s Los Angeles Clippers take on Anthony Davis’ Lakers at 10:30 p.m. on TNT. Lakers guard Rajon Rondo is day-to-day with a calf injury, while big man DeMarcus Cousins is out after tearing his ACL over the summer. The Pelicans face the Raptors in the first game of the doubleheader, but Darius Miller is out (Achilles), as is Zion Williamson, who is expected to miss six to eight weeks with a torn meniscus in his right knee.
