Bam Adebayo should’ve been an All-Rookie selection.

The former Wildcat and No. 14 overall pick last summer was a nice surprise for the Miami Heat. The Heat took a gamble by taking him in the lottery when the so-called experts projected him as a late-first-rounder, but the gamble paid off as Adebayo quickly picked up the NBA game and stole playing time from Heat veterans, namely Hassan Whiteside.

But when the NBA announced its two All-Rookie teams, Adebayo fell one point shy of cracking the second team. Josh Jackson of the Phoenix Suns beat him out for the last spot, 45-44 in the voting.

Bam’s reaction matched his personality: not a lot of words.

Only an emoji.

Josh Jackson was one of the top 4 rookies in the entire league and he got the last spot on the second team? Lol. He should be more upset than anyone.

Further proof that no one watches regular season. And what kind of bath salts leads you to think Josh Jackson was a top 4 rookie? Goodness…

I watched the games. He had a very good rookie year. A terrific second half in particular. He got 20 and 8 pretty regularly. Last time I checked, you don’t have to be on bath salts to know that’s really good. You just have to have a slight clue what you’re watching. I wasn’t counting Simmons as a rookie, so he should go ahead of Jackson. Ball making making 1st team is laughable. He hardly ever played the 2nd part of the year.
