Anthony Davis is a six-time NBA All-Star, a two-time gold medalist, and an NCAA Champion, but there’s one thing that absolutely terrifies him: the dark.
On the latest episode of That’s What She Said with Sarah Spain, Davis admitted that he’s still scared of the dark and sleeps with the lights on.
“TV on, bathroom light on, some light has to be on,” Davis said. “I wish I wasn’t scared of the dark.”
Davis said the fear stems from watching “too many crazy movies” growing up, which “messed me up for life.” He said being scared of the dark is the thing he’d like to change most about himself, but for now, the people in his life will just have to deal with it.
“We ain’t gonna make it,” Davis said when asked what would happen if he fell in love with someone who needed complete darkness to sleep. “It’s over with.”
