Anthony Davis buys new $7.5 million California home

Anthony Davis is now the proud owner of a California home in Los Angeles County.

The New Orleans Pelicans star purchased the new digs for $7.5 million (a fraction of his net worth) in Westlake Village. The home includes a home theater, gym, infinity pool with water slides, outdoor kitchen, and an indoor basketball court, as well as a fully-loaded guest house for visitors.

TMZ has an aerial shot of the estate:

The timing of the purchase might excite some Lakers fans, but Davis isn’t leaving New Orleans anytime soon. He’s locked into a five-year deal with the Pelicans until 2021.

Nice house, though.

That’s kind of what I was thinking. That was a nice find. In fact, the photo of AD above looks like a guy who just got a great deal on a house. Ha!

I thought it had to be a typo Clutch, but everything I can find online says 7.5 million. Gotta be haunted or something!

After a quick look at Zillow, that is one of the highest priced properties in that town, and not a lot less than the asking price.

I looked at the same thing! Lol. It’s in west gate estates I think. Homes go from around 1.5 mil to almost 20 mil (very few near that 20 mil range though). I’m honestly surprised, I would’ve thought lots more $.

I love Anthony Davis, but it’s still ridiculous these athletes make this kind of money. Luckily Cal’s guys give back, but still.

It’s the players or the owners, take your pick who gets the money.

They are worth what a team is willing to pay them. It seems out of whack, but that’s just how it works.
