Anthony Davis’ Advice to NBA Rookies

Six years ago Anthony Davis became the second Kentucky Wildcat ever drafted as the No. 1 overall pick in the NBA Draft.  Today he’s a five time All-Star and perennial MVP candidate.

The Unibrow isn’t leaving behind the new guys.  To help the rookies reach their ultimate goals, he shared six tips, a piece of advice for each year he’s spent in the league, in the following video.

I do disagree with Davis on one point.  If LeBron can wear suit-shorts, you can wear sweatpants.

Great advice. Now some people would think that these are all common sense things, but like he was, most of these rookies cannot even legally drink alcohol yet! I know I wasn’t ready for the “real world” at 19-20! A bunch of guys feel like they have made it once they got into the league (especially with all that money), but the real work is just starting!

Has it really been 6 years since we won#8?
8 is great but 9 is fine and way overdue!!

LOL. We might be the only fanbase in the country that thinks we should win a national title every 5-6 years.

We should win one with Cal every 4-5 years for sure.
