All-Star Weekend Adds More Cats

For the first time, Big Men are getting their chance to shine in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge.

Draymond Green is the only big man that isn’t a former Wildcat.  Karl-Anthony Towns, Anthony Davis and DeMarcus Cousins will compete on NBA All-Star Saturday Night.  No word on what they’ll actually do during the Taco Bowl Skills Challenge, but if it involves consuming Taco Bell, I don’t know how Drew Franklin didn’t get an invitation.

A look at where else you can find former Cats during next weekend’s All-Star festivities in Toronto:

Friday’s BBVA Rising Stars Challenge

  • Karl-Anthony Towns – Team USA
  • Nerlens Noel – Team USA
  • Trey Lyles – Team World

Saturday’ Foot Locker Three-Point Contest

  • Devin Booker

Saturday’s Taco Bell Skills Challenge

  • Karl-Anthony Towns
  • Anthony Davis
  • DeMarcus Cousins

Sunday’s All Star Game

  • John Wall – Eastern Conference
  • DeMarcus Cousins – Western Conference
  • Anthony Davis – Western Conference

What you’re saying is, other than Darnell Dotson, every former Cat under Coach Cal is taking place in the festivities!

And Louisville is well represented, as well. Peyton Siva and his dad have tickets for the game.

I like the free dress drink refill idea Tennessee does.
