Report: Andrew Harrison agrees to deal with Grizzlies

Big news for a former Wildcat this afternoon! Andrew Harrison has agreed to a three-year, $3 million deal with the Memphis Grizzlies according to sources at The Vertical. It will include a partial deal on his third season.

For his full season in the D-League, Harrison averaged 18 points per game and his display of talent clearly paid off. His youth and athleticism is just what this Grizzlies team needs, according to The Vertical, and it will allow Harrison to have a serious opportunity to earn minutes this season.

After leading the Wildcats to two Final Fours in his two years at Kentucky and proceeding to be the 44th pick in the NBA Draft, Harrison is proof that hard work pays off.

Maybe we’ll see him face off against his brother Aaron and the Charlotte Hornets? Regardless, show your support for our forever Wildcat and his awesome news!

Good luck Andrew. I hope you have a long and prosperous career in the NBA. I’ll never forget you hitting those clutch 3’s. That was something. Maybe someday you and Aaron will be team mates again. Good luck.

Wasn’t it Aaron hitting those 3’s?

Yep, he’s confused about that; but, for two years, but for their numbers, that was easy to do.

Anybody hear about SEC FOOTBALL MEDIA DAYS starting tomorrow. Heck, I know we just show up in football in the conference but it might be interesting, certainly not as much as a member of the ‘Loyalty’ twins getting to sit closer to the floor at a NBA basketball game but you do have to admit football is the next sport on the agenda.

Yes, but this article was not about football. Right now, I’m still having withdrawal from basketball, and thankfully, we have the NBA summer schedule. I’m looking forward to college football as much as anyone; but, it still seems so far away.
There was a Nick Roush article prior to this one about the upcoming football season with some interesting predictions by Nick and Freddie… might enjoy that one.
