In the heat of the July summer, few things are more satisfying than a delicious ice cream cone. The flavor of choice for each individual is debatable. The most common selection for Kentuckians is from out of left field (kind of).
To honor National Ice Cream month across America, the payment company Square compiled data to learn each state’s favorite ice cream. Kentucky’s favorite flavor is not what you would call a traditional flavor. Instead, we stick to what we do best: bourbon.
This is more proof that Kentuckians will consume bourbon-flavored anything. Now if they could just find a way to make it into the soft serve machines at Rupp Arena…
