You can buy some guy’s $10K Lamar Jackson for Heisman bet

A bettor lost faith in his Lamar Jackson bet following Jackson’s fumbling away of the Kentucky game. The anonymous gambler is trying to sell his $100 ticket on Jackson to win the Heisman to the highest bidder, and the current bid is sitting at $9,000 for the ticket.
Why so high, you ask?
The bet was placed before the season when Jackson was 100-to-1, so the bet will pay out $10,000 if Jackson wins the Heisman. But its current holder isn’t so confident that will happen after Jackson’s fumble (by the way, did you see that? LOL) so he is trying to cash out and get what he can.

Nah I’m good.
I’ll keep making my fortune on the over in Kentucky basketball games.

He does have the pose down…..hee haw.
Tyreek Hill, the guy all over the NFL’s website this week …. don’t forget he is total scum https://gritfathers.wordpress.com/2016/11/29/tyreek-hill-still-a-dick/
yeah but he scored me 37.5 points last week…
So, some idiot is willing to shell out 9 grand. I hope Jackson comes in second.
Unfortunately, I say LJ still wins it which only speaks to how sub-par this Heisman class is.
Louisville is a three loss team, one of which coming at home to in-state rival who was a four touchdown underdog LOL; LJ choked HARD in the Houston game after having a cake walk to the playoffs and then put up four turnovers in the last game of the season to lose their Orange Bowl bid. For every “Heisman Moment” he had (1), he had three “Do you even play football moments.” Show me one previous Heisman winner with that kind of resume.
But still, the field is deficient in outstanding players this season for some reason. LJ still takes home the trophy.
Jackson’s a tremendous player though, I haven’t seen anyone who’s outshined him yet. He’s the only reason Louisville isn’t a 6-loss team, which is a pretty big accomplishment in a game with 22 guys on the field most of the time.
I think toward the end of the year he got a little full of himself, let the hype get to his head, and lost focus. That’s the only way I can explain the difference between the ridiculously explosive playmaker I watched dismantle and humiliate FSU and the guy we saw on ESPN the last couple of weeks of the season, or at it’s least the only way that doesn’t involve alien abduction and cloning.
Why is that unfortunate? From now to eternity, when UofL brags about Jackson winning the Heisman, UK fans can say, “Yeah, but did he beat Kentucky that year?” They put up a statue of him at Papa John’s? UK fans can pose with it saying, “Didn’t beat Kentucky.”
I also like to be able to say our team beat a Heisman winning QB on his home field and our QB outplayed him that game. I’m all for Jackson winning.
Totally agree with you though about this being a weak Heisman field.
A basketball analogy will work here. Remember how awesome Pistol Pete Maravich was at LSU…setting scoring records left and right. How many times in his 6 games against Kentucky did LSU beat UK…that’s right kids…ZERO…NIL…ZILCH.
Agree with all of you about wanting something more to hang over UofL’s head in saying that the best player on their best team is still little brother to Stephen Johnson hahaha
Will Doc Holliday be looking to leave Marshall after this season? https://gritfathers.wordpress.com/2016/11/29/breaking-news-marshall-football-players-internally-punished-for-season-finale/
You can stop piggybacking your website off KSR with irrelevant news any time now…
Anyone heard from cats paw? I haven’t seen him post anywhere since Saturday!! LOL
Anyone heard from Howdy Doody either? 🙂
So, someone will pay $9000 for a ticket to potentially win $10,100 and then have to pay about 40% in taxes.
Not sure that is a great idea.
Louisville fans aren’t known for their intellectual acumen, one of them will think this is a good deal!
That’s amazing … know where I could also buy an automatic ball crusher? I want that just about as much which is none.
Regardless of the last game, Lamar Jackson is still today’s best college football player and will deservedly win the Heisman trophy…
But he lost to UK. At home. On Senior Day. LOL
Did you see Lamar do the Heisman pose?
Did you see Lamar fumble?
LOL
