West Virginia University president E. Gordon Gee, the man with a bowtie collection worth more than you make, says football will be played this fall.
“Even if I have to suit up,” he said. ‘I’ve got my ankles taped. I’m ready to go in.”

Today he shared a photo of his Heisman pose and assured his Mountaineers that safety will come first:
We all want to see football back this fall, but only if it can be done safely. The health of our student-athletes, our staff and our fans must be our top priority in any plan to return to the field. Until then, I will be practicing my stiff arm at home! pic.twitter.com/Kw2kMhbOeE

If Gee’s name sounds familiar, it’s because he was once the president of the Ohio State University. He had beef with Eli Capilouto back then after making some derogatory comments about Kentucky’s academic integrity.
So now that he’s offering to suit up, I say we get those two in an Oklahoma drill ASAP.
