“Wildcat Legends” Announces 2 Events for UK Games This Week

For fans who may want to meet three of UK’s greatest players, then you are invited to come to tomorrow night’s UK-LSU pre-game autograph event with Jack Givens, Kenny Walker and Tony Delk. This “Big 3” represents UK’s leading scorers of three consecutive decades — Givens in the 70s, Walker in the 80s, and Delk in the 90s — and they will be in the Lexington Center mall foodcourt (immediately adjacent to Rupp Arena) from 5:00-6:30 to sign the “Wildcat Legends—Decades” art print that commemorates this accomplishment (see image). The unsigned “Decades” art print is $15, or is $65 with all 3 players’ signatures; fans may also bring their own personal items to be signed at $20 per signature or $55 for all 3 autographs per item. In addition, Tony Delk’s new book, “Shooter,” is only $10 (signed) with any purchase, as are complimentary photos of fans with the players.

Also, this Saturday 2/16 before the big UK-Tennessee game in the same foodcourt location at Your Frame Of Mind Galleries, “Wildcat Legends” is proud to release its beautiful new tribute art poster of UK’s 1998 National Championship team, entitled “The ComeBack Cats.”  The poster is being released this season during the 20th Anniversary of that title, in which the team rallied from large deficits in numerous NCAA tournament games, including the championship game against Utah (see poster image). Final Four MOP Jeff Sheppard’s signature is available on the poster for $35, or the unsigned poster is only $15; “Wildcat Legends” artist David Bryan Blondell will also be on hand to autograph either version of the poster at no additional cost. (There will be another KSR post later this week with additional ’98 poster information.)

As is the case with either of these events, ALL fans are welcome to attend and add these beautiful art prints to their collection, regardless if they have game tickets or not. Please visit or see their Facebook page at for more information.
