Scott committed back in May, picking the Cats over Cincinnati, Boston College, Michigan State, Toledo, Wake Forest and Akron, among others. He is considered the No. 84 wideout in the country by Rivals. Kentucky now has three wide receiver commitments in the 2021 class: four-star Dekel Crowdus and three-stars Chauncey Magwood and Christian Lewis. The early signing period begins December 16.

After seeing the schools he listed, I’m not sure this a loss and his loss for passing on the SEC
UC would beat the breaks off UK and alot of other SEC schools.
Facts.
Brakes*
Personally, I liked breaks better. But whatever…
UC’s own offensive coordinator said on radio that they had 10-15 guys that could be on an SEC roster. Would love for UC to play a 10 game SEC schedule.
They may have 10-15. SEC have 50+ guys per team that ARE on SEC rosters.
Exactly
He’s watching the other schools’ offenses and also watching the travesty that is UK’s offense. It makes perfect sense that he would decommit. Why would any capable receiver want to be a part of such a horrible scheme?
Come to UC. Program is on the rise. Have a legit QB waiting in the wings to take over once Ridder leaves.
Lmao. You’re retarded.
UC is to college sports what Gallagher is to comedy. They get what Miami of Ohio doesn’t want. Gimme a break.
They’re top ten so you might want to stfu
Nahhh…..I don’t. The fact that they have somehow been able to parlay a modified season into a decent ranking is immaterial. It is a crap school, in a crap conference, with a crap coach, a crap fan base. UC has always been a dump.
And a crap city
LoL, says a lot about how appealing our offense is to wide receivers when we cant beat schools like that out for a kid . I look for the others to decommit too . They were we would throw more but they see what’s really happening .
And so it begins….
Cracks have already started to show in recruiting? He saw the offense and was like wtf is this?
What cracks Blue? Losing one lowly rated reviewer is not a big deal.
Guess Dingle didn’t see those “cracks”
If you are a WR or TE recruit, you would have to be brain dead to come here.
Very hard to recruit offensive skill people to ground & pound U.
Not a hint of anything different next year.
Yep more of the same stubborn stoops poops ball
And miss our ride open offense?
Instead of trashing our program and assuming he left us, perhaps he realizes that he is not SEC caliber and has been recruited over.
Highly doubt he is decommitting because he is not SEC caliber. He is leaving because he has seen enough of what is an offensive shit show and this is year 5 under Gran and Hinshaw. They are his guys so Stoops has basically effed himself in recruiting by giving other coaches the tape to prove it
This is Stoops’ offensive philosophy dude.
Orrrrrr, he simply realized playing somewhere that actually throws the ball around gives him a better shot at catching passes. This isn’t rocket science.
Hopefully, sausage fingers takes the Iowa job.
We can’t even keep a so called lowly rated receiver. BTW, what were Cobb and Bowden rated out of high school?
Why would a WR or TE come here right now???
To block in the run game. Duh
To play/start right away in the SEC and catch passes from Beau Allen.
Depart. I never knew you.
LOl this fanbase is embarassing i rememberwhen we got him . it was yahtzee the Stoops train is rolling etc. Now all of asudden its no loss because of the schools he was considering such idiots.
Even though you’re a troll, I kinda sorta have to agree with you on this one. Now get the hell outta here..
LOL! Get him Bluehender
Why would any receiver want to come here right now?
I never believe a kid is coming here when it comes to football until he signs on the dotted line. GO CATS!!
What he said.
Don’t blame him
Apparently, he is interested in interviews, though.
I see what you did there! Good comment! The old double negatives! LOL!
Looks like he didn’t want to catch 2 yard WR screens………
Our offense is whats at a loss. Who the F wants to sign up for this if yur a wideout????
And the rats are leaving the sinking ship. It was bound to happen. We have no ST coach and a rookie buddy of Stoops coaching D line. Watch the defense start regressing. Matter of time if it hasn’t already started. Who is next to decommitted? We have no shot at the Wimsatt kid from Owensboro.
Gran made miracles happen with what he has had to work with for the past few years. However I believe recruiting shouldve been pressing the passing game the last 2 seasons hardcore beyond a shadow of a doubt, and clearly it must not have been a focus while out on the recruiting trail. I can kinda hear the recruiting pitch with defense, and the running game (barely), but I have no idea what they would say on recruiting trips for wideouts and tight ends specifically when they are still playing Terry Wilson. TW has been here for us and seen us through some historically games by breaking some streaks, but he just isn’t the same qb that he was before the injury. I hope we give our 2nd and 3rd string guys a chance (at least a half if not a game) to prove themselves. Then at least the coaching staff could point to changes being made, improvements and experience for future is coming along this season in preps for next season. Dig us outta this hole that we’re in, that we could’ve avoided but Obviously didn’t for whatever the reason.
Kentucky will be hard pressed to win another game this year. Definitely will get waxed by Florida. Stoops will never realize that he has to change his offensive scheme – likely due to his stubbornness. Don’t blame the kid for decommitting – any reasonable kid who plays WR or TE will not come here to KY.
We can beat SC. Whether we do? Who knows at this point.
BTW, the Duke boards are that way >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>
We won’t have a QB next year. Gatewood cannot throw a good ball and Beau Allen does not have the arm strength for D1 football.
Let’s be honest UC is just like Central Florida a few years ago…if they even went undefeated and made it to CFP…they would get killed upon reaching there…Bama would beat the brakes off them. Gran was OC @ UC from 2013-2015 …so there program is on the rise because he is no longer there !!
You seem pleasant
Actually the word is that Allen actually does have a great arm. We’ll see if that turns out to be the case.
Someone tell Stoops and Gran that Lynn Bowden is no longer on the team
