Kentucky Sports Radio

University of Kentucky Basketball, Football, and Recruiting news brought to you in the most ridiculous manner possible.

Who would play John Calipari in a movie?

A caller on this morning’s radio show just raised a very interesting and difficult question: If there were a movie about John Calipari’s life, who would play John Calipari?

Matt shot down Shannon The Dude’s Al Pacino suggestion because he is too old. Ryan suggested some guy that Matt thinks is in Magic Mike, an unintentional confession to seeing Magic Mike. Alec Baldwin, Ray Liotta and Andy Garcia also got mentions, as did Matthew McConaughey.

So if you’re casting the movie, who is your pick?

I’m going with Josh Hopkins.

HAHAHHAHAAH!!! UK fans are the dumbest people on this planet! Why in the hell would they EVER make a movie about that scum. Calipari is one of the worst most crooked coaches in history and EVERYONE knows it. He has left 2 programs in a flaming heap as he moves to greener pastures. No coach has ever done the horrible things that he has. Cal has LITERALLY cheated his way to the top. Cal has more NCAA violations than any other coach in the country AND more vacated wins than any coach ever! this is a joke….
the whole first half of the movie about his life would be him being prosecuted for cheating.. and then the last 10 minutes of the film (relative time to his actual life) would be a bunch of inbred redneck UK fans slobbering over him hopping that he can cheat his way to victory without leaving first.
If anyone deserves a movie it is Coach K.
      Get a life Inbreds

So you have evidence that John Calipari is a cheater? if so, please forward the evidence to:

      The National Collegiate Athletic Association
      700 W. Washington Street
      P.O. Box 6222
      Indianapolis, Indiana 46206-6222
      Phone: 317/917-6222
      Fax: 317/917-6888

and while we’re on the subject of cheating, if they ever did make a movie about coach K I wonder if they’d cover up the Lance Thomas Jewelry voucher like the NCAA did for dear beloved Kryzewski….

JCblue22, try reading a book sometime buddy. I obviously don’t have to send anything in because they already know. If you did any research you’d know that the last two programs cal coached at were left in shambles with major investigations ongoing all by cal. And cal has the most vacated wins of any coach in the sport… So I’m pretty sure the NCAA is pretty aware, as should all UK fans because they are next to get swamped with allegations. After all, UK did have to submit a formal apology to the NCAA win they celebrated cal’s winning with a false number that included vacated wins. Go look it up loser

Let’s see if I have this straight. You read article, you claim to find the query said article poses to be “half-assed”, you take the time to post a comment stating as much and now you return to the comments section yet again to see if anyone responded to your “ass”essment of the column. For a post that asks such a silly question it sure has burrowed it’s way into your consciousness. Either way I guess I would say up your nose with a rubber hose and twice as far with a chocolate bar.
