Indiana fans are convinced they’re getting Brad Stevens as the Hoosiers’ next head coach, but the gambling odds aren’t as confident in Stevens leaving the Boston Celtics for Bloomington.

Over at BetOnline.ag, Texas Tech’s Chris Beard is the betting favorite at 2/1 odds, followed by Baylor’s Scott Drew at 3/1 and former Michigan head coach John Beilein at 4/1. Brad Stevens is far down the list at 25/1, although it appears BetOnline already locked its users’ ability to place a bet on Stevens. He’s a popular choice.

The board:

Chris Beard 2/1
Scott Drew 3/1
John Beilein 4/1
Dana Altman 11/2
Thad Matta 13/2
Dane Fife 7/1
Brad Stevens 25/1
Calbert Cheaney 25/1
Billy Donovan 33/1

Personally, I’m still holding out hope for Rick Pitino.

It will be Beilein, although he’s maybe a little too old.

Beard and Drew have at best, lateral jobs at this point.

Pitino would be awesome. But they should totally hire Andy Enfield.

Where’s Bobby Knight these days? I am sure he would do well in today’s game *snickering*

He like that Stevens snd Billy D are betting “available”, if Cal craps the bed next year I’m onboard for either of them at UK

Stevens and Donovan won’t come but could both turn it around.
Drew is a solid hire, but not sure he’d turn it around in the time they’d give him.
Beilein is the best option past the two nba guys. Could win quickly, turn it around and pass off to next hire in better shape. Bloomington is hard to sell with a old high school gym to play in, bad weather and nothing to do in the city.
