You’d think that Coach Cal would be kicking back, watching a little NBA action on the TV, and enjoying his favorite meal fresh off the grill, but unlike the rest of us, Coach isn’t taking it easy this weekend. After Jamal Murray’s visit, he headed up to watch Brad Calipari play in the Nike EYBL.

Apparently, Murray’s visit went well. According to Jeff Borzello of ESPN, Murray enjoyed his time in Lexington but still has a few other schools on his radar. He also told Adam Zagoria earlier that he, “likes what [Kentucky] has to offer. They get guys to the NBA quick and they really develop each individual to the best of their abilities.”

And speaking of Brad, according to D1 Circuit, he went for 11 points, 4 rebounds, and 1 assist in the Kentucky Travelers’ one point loss to the Alabama Challenge this afternoon.
Good comments from Jamal Murray and watching your kid play? I’d say that’s a pretty good way to start Memorial Day weekend.
