Week Two of NFL Preseason games start this week

Last Thursday, NFL fans got a taste of some fresh football at the NFL Hall of Fame game. Now, this week everyone is gearing up for their games, many that include former Cats. Here are some updates from Training Camp around the league!

Josh Allen

The 7th pick of the 2019 NFL Draft is fitting nice in his home in Jacksonville.

Here is what his Head Coach, Doug Marrone had to say a couple of days ago to jaguars.com on Allen through his development this past week:

“He is a guy that he can drop, he can rush, he can play in a three-point stance, he can play in a two-point stance. There are a lot of things going on.”

“Now all of the sudden, you are starting to see there are more reps now. You are starting to see athleticism. You are talking about a guy who is big-271, he’s strong. You see power moves, you see speed and now you start to get excited. We’re excited about where he is.”

Marrone did keep saying that there is still a long way to go in developing him into the player they want him to be.

Sacksonville is on its way! (Just don’t hurt Andrew Luck, Josh, that’s all I ask!)

Benny Snell Jr.

Not shocking to the BBN, Benny Snell Jr. is being noticed for his work with the Pittsburgh Steelers. Many are impressed, but none more than Ben Rothlisberger, who had this to say about the rookie running back:

As Snell proves many people wrong and fights for more time against their starting running back last year, James Connor, he might be getting a lot of time coming up. Also, the absence of Le’Veon Bell opens the book on a promising start in his rookie season.

By the way, he’s already breaking tackles in Madden!

Randall Cobb

New year, new team for the former Green Bay Packer. Cobb has said on the record he feels like a rookie again!

By the way, he is already making highlights!
