The season is sadly now over, and the folks here at KSR love getting your input on things… relevant and bizarre. We have to get a little creative around here sometimes. Last summer I started a weekly series called “We Ask You Wednesdays,” that brought in some great responses from many readers via Twitter.
Each week, the question will change and we will hit on a variety of topics, mostly UK-related… but you never know. Each week the best responses will make it on to the website. This week’s twenty ninth volume of the “We Ask You Wednesday” allowed Kentucky fans to answer the following question via Twitter in 140 characters or less: IF YOU COULD PICK ANY FORMER KENTUCKY BASKETBALL PLAYER TO BE THE ONLY SPOKESPERSON FOR THE PROGRAM, WHO WOULD IT BE AN WHY?
Darius is a Kentucky born and bred player. I kind of like that line of thinking…
@AllyTuckerKSR Darius miller. Went through ups and downs. Sacrificed starting spot. Graduated. Got a title ring. Kentucky grown.

I think he could definitely be a good representative from the Pitino era. Successful NBA and broadcasting career as well.
I wouldn’t argue with this one either.
@AllyTuckerKSR Patrick Patterson. Saw good and bad, graduated in 3 years.

Where he has a leg up on the competition? He also takes really great glamour shots.
As long as he will promise to tell the story of his dog walking him to school and waiting for him every day…
Eh, maybe if a couple other people aren’t available first…. He would certainly be entertaining
@AllyTuckerKSR Ramel Bradley Lol

Who doesn’t love Tony Delk?
Can we do this just to piss Colin Cowherd off?

That sounds like sound reasoning to me…
@AllyTuckerKSR Demarcus Cousins because he is Demarcus Cousins.

There is something about the Jorts…
@AllyTuckerKSR Josh Harrellson hands down. Country boy that wears Jorts. ‘Nuff said. That’s what KY is all about. Also a cardinal killer.

He does have a way with the words…
@AllyTuckerKSR Karl Anthony Towns. No brainier. No explanation needed
