Kentucky recruit, Wandale Robinson, is no stranger to the highlight reel and on Friday night he added to his extensive collection of impressive plays.

Watch as the Western Hills star spins out of two tackles and seemingly evades all other 21 people on the field.

In a 42-32 victory over Garrard County, Robison had a stat line of 288 yards and five touchdowns on the ground, a 35-yard touchdown pass, 16 tackles, five tackles for loss, one forced fumble & a sack. Sheesh.

Wandale Robinson will announce his commitment on November 1st, in honor of his late cousin. He will pick between Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio State, Nebraska, Purdue, and Michigan.

Why do we celebrate this stuff? Robinson is obviously an elite high school athlete but just like we don’t see Lynn Bowden high school runs at UK, Robinson isn’t going to come out of a pack of college defenders to finish that run.

That said, just like Bowden, I’d love to see Robinson at UK.

If you watch this stuff and expect that they will definitely do the same exact hing against college players, you’re doing it wrong. Is it somehow better to watch videos of guy who don’t make big plays in HS?

I don’t expect players to repeat what they did in college. Just tired of the KSR Hype Train. Yesterday the UK QB commit was compared to Baker Mayfield of all things.

If I was a recruiter, all my kids would have the heart that guys like Stephen Johnson had. Some guys are just winners, and they would absolutely have to possess that.
