Is comment is in reference to the article below this. Posting a political article and then disabling the comments is a very cowardly thing to do.

Yes. If the author is unable to defend the gaping logical holes in his work, then he should not bother to post it in the first place.

I find almost anything about Matt Jones interesting. He has the job we all think we would want. I am pretty sure I could not do it half as well. I was a bit surprised he believed in God just because I run into so many atheists from younger people. His appeal is mostly how down to earth he is. Next to that would be his passion for the Wildcats. His humor is very good I think. It is hard to picture anyone as intelligent as a lawyer so in sync with UK sports.
No one ever mentions how big he is in Wildcat sports. I do appreciate so much what he brings to average people in excellent entertainment. Outside of players and coaches, I think he means more than anyone else to the fans. Whenever he leaves I think people will finally realize how very unique product he has given to us.
I would be interested to know more about his parents. He has some really good values that must come from them and maybe the grandparents he mentioned. Thanks for sharing this video! Being my “voice of the Wildcats” keep giving us more of Matt’s opinions.

Matt, you and I are at opposite ends of the spectrum concerning politics, but, after listening to you talk at Southland tonight, I have a whole new idea of who you are as a person. I will try to remember what you said about empathy every time I interact with someone from now on. I, too, am a Christian and my health keeps me from going to church (or anywhere) as much as I would like. Therefore, listening to KSR and keeping up with things and my Wildcats on the computer is a big part of my life. I will ignore your politics and just enjoy the KSR, pregame and post game shows for the entertainment that they are.
God bless you in your life and your endeavors.

Thanks for sharing this. I’ve heard your empathy through the years and appreciate it more and more.
The fact that Skip Bayless was so well liked at ESPN … now that really makes me want to shift my paradigm about everyone. Maybe even Rick P maybe likable … will work on that.
    Great job!!!
