If you were sad you didn’t get to witness Rhyne Howard pour in 30 points in the season-opener, I’m sure Chasity Patterson’s 30 points were more than enough to put you in a good mood.
Against Murray State on Wednesday afternoon, the No. 11 Kentucky Wildcats Women’s Basketball team tipped off the 2020-21 season with an impressive 86-60 win against the in-state foe. Patterson’s 30 points led both all scorers and Kentucky as a whole shot 40 percent from the floor. If you missed out on the full game recap, you can check it out by clicking the link here.
Howard and senior forward Tatyana Wyatt were both suspended prior to the game due to not upholding the standards of the program (Howard) and violating team rules (Wyatt). Howard will miss one more game while Wyatt is out for two more.
