WATCH: Highlights from Kentucky’s Five Incoming Freshmen

(Brian Spurlock-USA TODAY Sports)

The Big Blue Nation has to wait 97 more days to get a peek at the 2019-20 University of Kentucky Wildcats. That’s too long.

While we patiently await the return of Kentucky basketball, the newest crop of Cats are putting in work at the Joe Craft Center. Courtside Films put together a sample of what we can expect to see from UK’s five fantastic freshmen.

After watching the three-minute clip, I can’t decide who’s going to dunk on more people’s heads, Keion Brooks or Kahlil Whitney.

Brooks needs to hit the weight room if he wants to do that in college

If our front court holds up and by that I mean improvement and health from Nick and EJ this team will be lethal. I still think we add Dante for depth if he gets his academics in order. GO BIG BLUE!!!!

I’m excited! All these guys have good enough looking shots for us to have one of our better shooting teams in a while. Don’t sleep on Juzang, can easily see him being the next Booker/Shia/Herro type to come in and way exceed expectations.

Interested in thoughts on how far we get next year. We should make a reasonably deep run, but don’t see a FF without a strong front court. (The swing and miss on Blackshear really hurt.) My early prediction is an E8 if we get a decent draw in the tournament. Thoughts?

Final 4 and hoping #9 guard play wins in the tourney. By March we should be scary good.

I truly believe this team gets to the final four if our front court holds up. I still think we add Dante later in the summer. If Nick and EJ struggle does Cal play four guards? He says he never has but that changes if those players struggle. I still think this team gets to the final four. This team must get to the final four imo that being said I will enjoy the season no matter what happens. GO BIG BLUE!!!!
