WATCH: Danny Trevathan’s Incredible Fake Out Results in a Sack

Danny Trevathan has a few tricks up his sleeve.

Out of the approximate 33,782 football games I’ve seen in my life, I’ve never seen anything like this. Beneath the Monday Night Football spotlight, the former UK linebacker used a hesitation move on a blitz. Once the Washington offensive lineman turned his head, Trevathan was all over Case Keenum.

A closer look:

What. A. Move.

Along with the unbelievable sack, Trevathan had two tackles for loss and total eight tackles, the second-most for the Bears who easily took down the Redskins 31-15. In the middle of arguably the best defense in the NFL, Kentucky’s star continues to shine.

You missed the fumble he caused on a 4th and 1 to stop a drive as the Skins were making a comeback. Bears recovered. Went down and kicked a field goal. Bears scored 24 points off of turnovers.

Great to see the defense win the possession time and again and the offense not give it right back.

That’s what we did well in the past at UK. Would like to see us take better advantage of those turnovers. Just need to trust the plan better and trust our teammates to do their jobs. We’ve had 2 opponents schemed well enough to win, just got to execute!

Terrific! I assume the officials picked the lingerie up off the field, hah.
