After not getting a single touch in Pittsburgh’s blowout loss to the Patriots last Sunday, Benny Snell finally was able to get his first NFL carry. With 3:08 remaining in the first quarter and the Steelers facing a 3rd and 1 situation, Snell got the call and took advantage.

Busting through the line, juking a tackler, and finally being brought down after a 23-yard gain resulting in a first down is the perfect start to Benny’s career. Unfortunately for Snell, he didn’t get another touch the rest of the game. Snell’s going to have to keep taking advantage of the limited opportunities he gets in Pittsburgh, as it appears they’ll be few and far between. If he keeps performing like that in limited time, he’ll work his way on to the field before we know it.
