VJ King commits to Louisville

Well, that didn’t take long. 2016 five-star small forward VJ King just committed to Louisville over Kentucky and UConn. The news isn’t surprising; according to Jon Rothstein, Kentucky never offered King:

So, really, not a loss at all. Best of luck to the kid and on to the next…

You can’t commit to one school over another when one of the two schools was never an option because they never offered a scholarship.

How did he pick L-ville over Ky if Ky never offered. Explain Mrs. Tyler.

King listed Kentucky on his list of final schools. There are conflicting reports on whether or not he had an offer, so I left the wording as such.

Future transfer calling it now. If he didn’t receive a scholarship from us that means the kid must have some kind of character issue. Not worried

Good luck at L-ville, and where ever you transfer too.

He still has a year to change his mind. It only took Antonio Blakeney a few weeks to realize he’d made a mistake committing to Louisville….

Next one, what program considers itself a basketball powerhouse, but has only won one championship since the creation of the 3-point line?

4 of UK’s titles were won when coloreds were forced to sit in the back of the bus and drink from seperate water fountains.

^ Our studious friend “Fact” has a clear gift of stating the obvious! I’m not sure what his point is, though….

Also, during that time period, so did:

      North Carolina
      Ohio State
      San Francisco

Here’s another fun fact: Louisville didn’t win ANY in that time. They didn’t become relevant nationally until the 80’s! Then they faded away a little (26 years to be exact), but have had some success lately in recent years – although, it is safe to say, not against their bitter in-state rival. They’ve been owned by them. And it chaps their asses.

If the titles were won by Poindexters wearing tighter butted pants and no blacks were allowed to play, it means nothing. Suck it hick.
