Vito Tisdale Rocks Kentucky Blue

This Bowling Green Purple looks good in a lighter shade of blue.

Tuesday evening Vince Marrow made the trek down the Bluegrass Parkway to pay a visit to one Vito Tisdale. A four-star prospect, 247 ranks Tisdale as a top 20 safety and No. 193 player overall.

Tisdale has kept his recruitment quiet throughout his senior season, one that ended after last Friday’s 28-0 loss to Cov Cath in the 5A state semifinals. Before he was forced to put a cast on his left hand, Tisdale recorded 88 tackles, four interceptions and two fumble recoveries. Against PRP he picked off two passes, recorded six tackles and a scoop and score.

Tisdale will announce his final college decision at the All-American Bowl, choosing between Kentucky, Alabama, Texas A&M and Georgia Jan. 4 on NBC. Even though his recruitment has been quiet, the folks around UK are confident entering the homestretch.

I hope he picks Big Blue but my gut tells me he is Bama bound.

I think he is one of those silent commits. He’s a Cat, I’d bet anything.
