Vince Marrow says calm down, it isn’t over yet

George Brown may have picked Florida over Kentucky, but UK recruiting wizard Vince Marrow says the war for the three-star offensive tackle isn’t over yet. Marrow tweeted this minutes after Brown’s announcement:

Stay calm and classy on Twitter, folks. It’s a long way ’til Signing Day…

Agree…..even if he had committed to UK today, I still would feel no better until he’s signed.

Brown will switch his commitment to us on signing day. Florida is a dumpster fire and muschamp will be gone at the end of the season.

Yep, we know BBN always stays “classy” on twitter

Yeah because that’s exclusive to UK fans when we lose out on a recruit. Insert any team for “BBN” and your comment would be accurate.

Spoken from the lips of a winner, Coach Morrow. The UK fan will stay calm and classy with total faith in the UK staff from top to bottom. Get them coach. We are cool and confident.

If I was in an alley and had to fight my way out, I would want Mr. Morrow at my side.

    Things do change. Example:
(Terrence) Jones committed to Washington on April 30, 2010, but didn’t sign a letter of intent. He ended up changing his mind and on May 19, 2010, he signed a financial aid agreement with Kentucky.

That’s a basketball ref but I bet, BBN could up with a Football ref. about UK.

  11. I’m glad he used a different metaphor than the old worn out “It’s a marathon, not a sprint”.

these overhyped announcements are silly. why not wait until signing time then have the presser, when it actually means something.

I like the fight in coach Marrow in not backing down from what he believes about the kids he is recruiting. Who knows what might have happened in what seems to be quick change in the mind of Brown in picking UF?. It seems coach Marrow truly thought he was coming to Ky.

If the kid stays with UF here’s wishing him all the luck in the world. GO CATS

Calm down? That’s funny. By the way, what are the chances Conrad flips to OSU? Now that might be something to get upset about. Does anyone think Stump will flip to Stanford? Oops that might be even more upsetting. Harris to Oregon?

Harris will go to OSU if hes smart. Oregon would be 2nd. Dont think theres any way he comes to UK. There’s two ways to look at his HS career. 1 hes never been beat on like he would get pounded in the SEC week in and week out, so you dont know how durable he is. 2 he hasn’t taken the beating in HS that most kids have at this point in their career, which is a good thing from a health stand point. So you base your opinion on his speed and agility and as for those aspects he’s legit.

Love to see him in Blue but fans are wishful thinking. Really doubt that happens

It’s pathetic that this web site has to continually remind fans to “stay classy”. What’s terrifying is that some of these fans with their “classy” social media skills, have actually gone on to procreate.

Classy and this website, including many of its posters, shouldn’t really be used in the same Universe

Let’s be real ; UF is in danger of joining UK in the basement of the SEC, after a few years of sub-standard football…and we’re fighting them over a 3…THREE…Star player? #AimHigherGuys

A three star recruit has sturred the BBN to a frenzy.
Heck, people we’re not Western Kentucky! We might wish we are but that’s a ship thats sailed.
It ain’t the number of stars a recruit has, its what’s developed with the player.
Compare the facilities, the coaching staffs, what his chances of going to the next level if that’s his goal.
Getting to play as a freshman, what’s that tell you about the quality of the athletes.
If he’s that strong, trained that well in high school, which is less than five percent of freshmen players who state on SUCCESSFUL college football teams, go for it.
    A three star.
