Transfer season is upon us. Vanderbilt running back Keyon Henry-Brooks just announced he’s entering the transfer portal after two seasons in Nashville.

Henry-Brooks was the Commodores’ leading rusher last season, racking up 494 yards and two touchdowns on 120 carries along with 28 catches for 258 receiving yards despite missing three games. Against Kentucky, he had a season-high 121 yards on 29 carries. As a freshman in 2019, Henry-Brooks served as backup to Ke’Shawn Vaughn, rushing for 252 yards and one touchdown.
Kentucky’s loaded at running back, so this won’t impact the Cats, but it’s tough news for the ‘Dores and first-year head coach Clark Lea.
