Updated Rivals top 10 is littered with UK targets

UK commit Tyrese Maxey finds himself ranked No. 7 in the updated top 10. UK commit D.J. Jeffries wasn’t included in the top 10, but the entire Top150 will be released tomorrow. While the Cats have just one commit in the top 10, UK targets were well represented.

10. Josh Green

9. Jeremiah Robinson-Earl

8. Precious Achiuwa

7. Tyrese Maxey

6. Isaiah Stewart

5. Matthew Hurt

4.  Jaden McDaniels

3. James Wiseman

2. Cole Anthony

1. Vernon Carey Jr.

The Monday Insider Notes touched on James Wiseman, Isaiah Stewart and Jaden McDaniels. Read that here. Right now UK’s top targets are in bold but the Cats have also reached out to Green, Stewart and McDaniels.

I did find it interesting that Rivals’ Eric Bossi did mention effort concerns when talking about Carey Jr. and Wiseman. Bossi casually dropped this quote when talking about Wiseman: “Once he finds that balance and the motor to play each game like maybe it’s his last, anybody ranked ahead of him could be in serious trouble.” When talking about the top ranked guy Bossi said, “At times during the spring he’s looked a little bored out there and that might be the biggest concern as he heads out into July with others pushing hard to try and take his spot atop the 2019 rankings.”

Interesting. It’s not uncommon for great players to become a little complacent because things come so easy, but it also goes to show just how talented those two players are to still be ranked in the top three.

They are always got UK targets in the top 10. I would like to think the top10 are targets of all the top programs.

Jaden McDaniels is a UK target, UK is his dream school. So lets get his name in bold print as well!
