University of Louisville Board of Trustees may sue its own foundation

The University of Louisville continues to be one big ol’ pile of doo-doo of an institution and today it dropped another steamer on that pile with news that the Board of Trustees may sue its own foundation. Honestly, I didn’t even know you can do that. But that’s how bad things are going over on the UofL campus in 2016.
Board chairman Larry Benz said the foundation needs to clean up relations with donors and the community. Those donors will no longer contribute until something is done. On top of that, a resolution said the university will sue the foundation if the foundation continues blocking open record requests on finances and auditing. That comes from Joe Sonka on the scene.
There’s a whole lot more to this story that I don’t care enough to look into with the Cats playing Florida tomorrow. Just know it’s a messy situation that isn’t getting cleaned up in the foreseeable future.
Go Cats.

Yea, but they win games! That’s the most important thing right?
I’m not go to criticize UofL when there are mumblings of UK suing the school newspaper.
