The No. 2 Kentucky Volleyball team was scheduled to play Mississippi State today and tomorrow in Starkville, but those matches have been postponed due to COVID contact tracing within the UK program. The games have been rescheduled for Friday, November 13 and Saturday, November 14 in Starkville.
From the SEC:
Volleyball matches between Kentucky and Mississippi State, scheduled to be played November 12 and 13, have been postponed due to contact tracing among the Kentucky program.
The action is consistent with COVID-19 management requirements developed by the SEC’s Medical Guidance Task Force.
Kentucky Volleyball is 6-0 this season, coming off a sweep of Auburn at Memorial Coliseum over the weekend. They are ranked No. 2 in the country behind only the 12-0 Texas Longhorns. UK began the season No. 3 and was able to move past Baylor after beating a ranked Missouri squad twice the week before. Kentucky received two first-place votes. This weekend’s matches will be the final of the fall season before they pick back up in the spring.
