The Kentucky-Louisville rivalry will not have a women’s basketball game in the upcoming 2020-21 season. UofL head coach Jeff Walz shared the news, saying it was a mutually agreed upon decision by both sides.

According to Cardinal Insider’s Jody Demling, Walz said there was a lack of available dates plus the potential of playing in an empty arena.

Walz expects the game to be back on schedule for the 2021-22 season.

Boy, their basketball coaches have phobias and night terrors about playing at their place with no home crowds. Ten to one if Covid is still around next year, Walz will weasel out of that one, too.
