Several Kentucky recruits played in Lexington this weekend at the Bluegrass Showcase, and they put on quite a show. UK recruits Jarred Vanderbilt, Deandre Ayton, and Rawle Alkins all suited up – along with class of 2016 commit Wenyen Gabriel. Here’s a brief recap of how the players did:

Wenyen Gabriel

With Kenny Payne and Coach Cal in attendance, Wenyen Gabriel put up 24 points and 11 rebounds in his team’s 83-73 victory last night. The most impressive part? He did it against fellow five-star recruit (and one time UK target) Thon Maker. Gabriel’s stock has been rising and rising this season; he’ll be fun to watch next year.

Rawle Alkins

Rawle Alkins turned in the performance of the weekend today, dropping a cool 51 points in his team’s 121-101 win. Tom Crean was also on hand to watch him, because for some reason top recruits are still going to Indiana. Alkins will pick a school next spring.

Jarred Vanderbilt

Not to be outdone by Alkins, five-star recruit Jarred Vanderbilt tallied a ridiculous 33 points, 23 rebounds, and 6 assists in the same game. Vanderbilt scored 66 total points this weekend. He received a scholarship offer from the staff this summer. Come on down?

Deandre Ayton

Deandre Ayton put up 24 points and 17 rebounds in today’s win against Thon Maker’s squad. Ayton, the #1 recruit in the 2017 class, also received a scholarship offer from UK this summer.

Jonathan Miller silencing opposing views on a sports site like a true Joseph Stalin Liberal. Take the guns, silence the opposing view, close the churches(except Islamic ones)…. The party of Matt Jones and Miller. Follow Kyle Tucker, he knows more about sports anyways.

Are they? I mean, are they really? ‘Cuz I can’t tell. They got Bryant and Williams. But I’m just not that impressed with either.
