Meagan Prince of UK Softball threw the school’s 13th no-hitter in school history in yesterday’s 10-0 win over South Dakota. Prince struck out nine and walked none in a game where the Coyotes’ only baserunner came on an error. The junior is now 4-0 on the season after throwing the first the Cats’ first no-no since last February. Kentucky’s offense forced two mercy ruled victories in Saturday’s doubleheader.

Kelsey Nunley followed up with a one-hit gem against Texas Tech in another 10-0 win. Nunley (5-2) and Prince (4-0) have combined for all nine of Kentucky’s wins this year. The Cats come home this weekend, starting with an 11:30 first pitch on Friday.

This team is very deep, and the Freshman can flat out play

If not for the error, Prince would have pitched a perf-perf. Soo darn clo-clo!!

Sorry, always hated the term ‘no-no’, expecially coming from grown men and women. it’s a no hitter, only one more syllable than the shortcut.
