Per Chris Fisher of 247Sports.com, Kentucky has offered 2017 4-star point guard Trae Young out of Norman, Oklahoma. The 6’1″ 170 lb PG has offers from 20 other schools, including Arizona, Duke, Kansas, Florida, Texas, and both in-state schools, Oklahoma and Oklahoma State.

On June 2nd, Young told USA Today that he would like to play with Michael Porter Jr., the top small forward prospect and the #2 player in the class of 2017. “We just feel like we can do big things together.” Porter already has an offer from the Cats, but Washington is considered the early favorite.
Young says that there is a possibility that he may visit Kentucky for Big Blue Madness.
