UK offers 2017 PF Mohamed Bamba

Starting today, coaches can call and text 2017 recruits, and John Calipari didn’t waste any time getting in touch with the nation’s top prospects. According to Evan Daniels, Kentucky offered 2017 power forward/center Mohamed Bamba, a five-star power forward from Westtown School in Norristown, Pennsylvania.

Bamba already has offers from Arizona, UConn, Florida State, Indiana, and Missouri, and Duke is reportedly showing interest. Bamba is considered the 2nd best power forward and and sixth best player in the 2017 class by 247 Sports. He’s 6’11” with a 7’8″ wingspan, 9’5″ standing reach and apparently he’s still growing.

Let’s watch him work:

Listening to KS welcome back matt,
speaking on the issue of the therapy dog, they are used to equalize certain chemical imbalances in the brain that cause stress, anxiety, depression, much the same way soldiers use PTL animals. This is done through the process of triggering artifical process in the brain that petting an animal can bring much like laughter, eating chocolate, or anything that may reduce these anxious feelings that experiences can bring like flying. The same centers in the brain that cause joy are activated through the feel, sight, weight, or warmth of the animal combating negative chemical responses. This dopamine release is natural vs the use of artifical chemical replacement like pharmaceutical intervention which can be an extreme measure and cause cerebral dependencies and develop life long usage. We don’t see it that way in such a pill laden society but the animals are a healthy, natural, effective alternative. Having said that yes lazy cheap people abuse it.

I assume the point you’re making is that anyone that tries to guard this guy is going to need a couple of therapy dogs. Checking him would be very stress inducing.

Why did you post this here instead of in the show thread?

If he’s the second best PF in that class, who in God’s name is the first? This kid looks absolutely filthy and he will only be a Jr. in high school in the fall? Good lord, he’s gotta be on NBA scouts radar already

Let’s all be thankful Cal got lucky and found this guy. According to Stedenko above, Cal is nothing but a bum, who cannot coach, and has even lost his recruiting touch. Amirite?

I really, really hope we get this kid. He has Anthony Davis’s frame.

He’s got UNC Henson softness in his eyes.

Good lord after watching the video, I can only hope he accepts my complement…

Softness where it’s needed (off the court) and a full range on the court.

    Get this kid today!

Hey, Cal can recruit, partly because of the myth that he makes pro players. He gets all top ten players coming in, and unless he ruins them, they will be pros.

Having said that, I think that he’s a good coach, but not necessarily the absolute best.

I don’t care if we get all the players that are lottery picks, we are Kentucky that’s what the Kentucky Wildcats are suppose to do is win. If you don’t want to be with a winning basketball team move to Indiana or Ohio
