UK is Stacking Up Stars in the 2020 Recruiting Class

If pictures say a thousand words, two in this description are “16 stars.”

Not too long after Justin Rogers announced his commitment to Kentucky, John Young shared the picture above from Keeneland. Taken during the April 27 official visit weekend, all four players have now committed to UK (from left to right): Andru Phillips, Rogers, Beau Allen and Young.

Only missing four-star defensive tackle Lamar Goods, UK’s young 2020 class has so many stars, you can’t stare directly into the eyes of the Rivals’ recruiting page.

UK’s five commitments have an average four-star rating. Unfortunately, they’re still in the mid-30s of each recruiting service. Rivals ranks UK’s class 36th; in 247 UK falls in at 32. Quality goes a long way, but they don’t yet have the quantity to climb near the top. Following the addition of Rogers, I have a feeling that will not be a problem much longer.
