UK Hoops Rank in the Top 20 in Preseason Polls

Ladies and Gentlemen, we are under a week away from the first game of the UK Hoops season! News just came out that the UK Hoops are ranked in the top twenty in both of the major preseason polls, #17 in the USA Today/Coaches Preseason Top 25 and #18 in the AP Preseason Top 25. 

These rankings mark the sixth straight season that Kentucky has been in the top 20 of both major polls to tip off the season. Other SEC teams included in the preseason polls are #2/2 South Carolina, #4/4 Tennessee, #13/11 Mississippi State, and #16/13 Texas A&M. Kentucky will also face ranked teams #8/8 UofL, #12/14 Duke, and #15/15 Arizona State.

The Hoops’ first game is this Sunday at 5pm in Memorial Coliseum against Union University. The Cats’ regular season begins on November 13th vs. Rice in Memorial at 7pm.
