UK Football taking the “Our Dad can beat up your Dad” approach

An unranked running back out of Atlanta picked up an offer from the Cats earlier this month, and his father has a very familiar face and one and half very familiar ears. His name is Elijah Holyfield, the son of boxing legend Evander Holyfield.

The class of 2016 prospect received his offer from Kentucky on May 6, one day before Ole Miss and Ohio State came calling with offers. He also has a scholarship at Tennessee, Wisconsin, Louisville and Indiana, among others, if he chooses. Georgia, Michigan and South Carolina are showing interest, too.

First the Stinger, now The Real Deal Holyfield… Mark Stoops is trying to win on the field and in the parking lot.

Is it just me, or does it look like Elijah has a wonky eye? Regardless, hope we get him, bc that would be awesome, but I’ll wish him the best either way.

If we get him then we need to see Holyfield vs. Sting.

All those offers and he’s unranked? Not just offers but GOOD offers. I know Rivals just updated but does anybody have him ranked?

Unrelated, but I just walked by Capiluto’s house and he was on the porch yelling at kids to get off his lawn!

We may as well recruit all of his kids. Then we’d have enough to fill out a whole football team and cheerleading squad.

I like it, let’s get this done! Kid is a dead ringer for his old man. And between Eli and the Holyfields, well that’s all the badasses a campus needs.

I just don’t understand…Why does Kentucky produce kids who look like grown men when they are sophmores in high school. We would have a lot more in-state talent if so.

In his defense.. He impregnated 4 of those women in a cuckhold situation where he was paid a fee to substitute… So don’t be so quick to judge.

That is pretty good list and I know our coaches can spot talent. Does Mr T have any kids we can recruit?
