UK Fans of the Day Want Three Late Afternoon Notes

uk-premed-fans

Today’s UK Fans of the Day are currently in Cusco, Peru, where they are volunteering on a medical mission trip. The six pre-med students at UK tell us they found a place in La Plaza del Armes that is showing the game tomorrow so they’ll be cheering on the Cats from western South America. The photo you see above is from a clinic in Ocapata, a remote village in Peru, where they helped over 115 people in need.

Can someone give them a “Go Cats” in the comments section?

A few brief notes…

Students are camping out for the eRupption Zone.

It looks like a mini-Tent City has popped up outside the student entrance at Rupp Arena for tomorrow’s game. Students began lining up last night and still have over 20 hours to go before Rupp will open its doors for them to rush toward the front of the eRupption Zone. Let’s hope they still have plenty of gas in the tank come tip-off. I’m sure they will.

The KSR podcast is back.

Finally! It’s all over! We sent Shannon The Dude and Maria to Gaza to end all podcast terrorism and they returned with our precious KSR podcasts in hand. Go to TalkRadio1080.com or search for “KSR Show” on iTunes to hear today’s insanely crowded show from Bearno’s in Jeffersonville.

We apologize on behalf of our enemies for any inconveniences over the last week.

The KSR pregame show adds an extra 30 minutes tomorrow.

We’ll be on the air for an extra half hour tomorrow for the KSR pregame show. Tune in to 630 WLAP at 1:00 p.m. ET to hear Matt Jones, Ryan Lemond and myself as we spend 90 minutes looking ahead to the Louisville Cardinals. If you’re going to the game, we’ll be back in the food court for the show and would love to have you join us for Mr. Kan’s Chinese Food and smiles before the game.

Are all Kentucky fans also Portland Trailblazer fans? You all seem to do the 3 goggle. A move started by the Portland Trailblazers.

it may have been started by the Trailblazers but it’s been taken over by BBN. Survival of the fittest.

“Go Cats” to our medical missionaries in Peru. Keep up the good work gang and I pray for your safety.
How precious to help those in need.

This has nothing to do with basketball just something for KSR to look into. My niece’s husband played football at WKU a few years ago n I said I thought they should’ve got a Bowl bid, they beat Navy n Navy got a bid n WKU went 8-4 for the season. He did not defend them but explained it in a rational matter. He said they finished 4th in their conference and if they did get a bowl bid they would probably have had up to 12 players ineligible because Petrino didn’t keep up with the players grades because he’s probably leaving next year. If that’s true it really sad shit. No loyalty at all.

With so many people in need in the states they don’t need to go all the way to Peru, unless it’s about getting concerts to their religion, so that another group of suckers joins and tithes to the church. They should call it a marketing mission instead.

Really your going to criticize missionary doctors? And exactly what are you doing to help the needy in the states?

The pic of students having to camp out for tickets is in my opinion why attendance is poor. Besides those with no life, who wants to go through all of that drama for every home game? Just issue a season pass and let the student section be general admission.
