We have to get The Truth to be involved in the Ryan Lemond 24 hours of radio somehow. At some point, Matt you should have Orbzut, Oscar and Ira Combs host the show.

If this mystery recruit happens to be Damien Harris that would be huge!!! He would be like the Drew Barker of this class, his early commitment would show other blue chips that UK is on the rise and lead to our best class yet. Things are definitely lining up for this to happen with all the talent they are putting on O line. #WhyNot

I will be 4-2 in the ifrst 7 weeks of the season

Pound for Pound I’d take John Wall. At 6’4, 195 he is built like the number one fighter in the world Jon “Bones” Jones but probably has more speed and athleticism. Those elbows could be devastating

    • Delk for 3

Bigger muscles don’t always win fights. Bledsoe is 6’1 so he gives up a big height and reach advantage. Wall would pick him apart just like Jones demolished the shorter/stronger Rashad Evans.

Why are you comparing Robic’s salary to others in Lexington?…or to cost of living in Lexington? That has nothing to do with it. Compare it to his worth in D-1 basketball. Maybe he’s highly paid compared to other D-1 asst. coaches, but there just seems to be something odd about Kenny Payne (with 10 years asst coaching experience & no head coaching experience) making 125k more than Robic (28 years college coaching experience with 6 years head coaching experience).

Taken from a Sports Illustrated Article about Mashburn and Pitino.

If names are destiny–if McGovern was bound to enter politics and Winfield couldn’t help but be a World Series hero–then Mashburn was fated to be precisely the kind of ballplayer he is. He can mash you near the basket or burn you from outside. His footwork in the lane is part of the legacy of Bobby Mashburn, his father, a New York City cop who was once a promising heavyweight with a left hook, the Mash Smash, that served him well during a ring career that featured bouts with Larry Holmes, Ken Norton and Oscar Bonavena and a stretch as a sparring partner for Muhammad Ali.

    vs.

    Demarcus “Big Cuz” Cousins 6′ 11″ 310 & Dakari Johnson 7′ 0″ 275
